IS Rosie O'Donnell CORRECT That Barron Trump Has Autism?

Rosie's in an online battle after she suggested President-elect Trump's youngest son Barron may be austistic. Here's Rosie's tweet: "Barron Trump Austic? if so - what an amazing opportunity to bring attention to the AUTISM epidemic." In a way, the part about the 'opportunity' is true. As a psychotherapist, I LOVE the idea that people who may not know much about autism are now discussing it! In fact, watch my video about Autism---it will REALLY fill you in---and also help you decide for yourself if you think Barron Trump may be autistic:

Melania Trump Is A FRAUD --- and here's the PROOF!!!

In her first major address before the nation on Monday night, Melania Trump appears to have plagiarized a number of lines from first lady Michelle Obama’sspeech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. The plagiarized passages, in bold below, concerned the importance of hard work and honesty.
“From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise; that you treat people with respect,” Trump told the thousands of Republican delegates and assembled media on Monday night in Cleveland.

In 2008, Mrs. Obama said, “You work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them.”
Trump’s spouse also lifted a line about children from Michelle Obama, saying, “We want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.”
In 2008, Michelle Obama said, “We want our children — and all children in this nation — to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.”
The Huffington Post reached out to the Trump campaign about the lifted lines, but a spokeswoman did not reply to the questions. A party spokesperson said the Republican National Committee would not be commenting on the issue.
Melania Trump was born in Slovenia, and English is one of a number of languages she speaks. Her Monday night primetime speech was the highlight of the first night of the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Regardless of whether the Trumps watched Michelle Obama’s speech in 2008 live, we do know that Donald Trump enjoyed her 2012 address.
The apparent plagiarism was originally pointed out by journalist and interior designer Jarrett Hill on Twitter.
It’s unclear how much of her speech Melania actually wrote, but earlier in the dayshe told NBC’s Matt Lauer, “I read once over it and that’s all. Because I wrote it and with [as] little help as possible.”
As word of the plagiarism began to spread early Tuesday, Trump supporters on cable news offered little in the way of defense. Jeffrey Lord, a Trump supporter on CNN, said whoever was responsible for the plagiarism “should not be t

As the day continued, the Trump campaign and its supporters offered a slew of reasons for the lifted words ― including that the plagiarism was a compliment or simply an accident.
Trump communications adviser Jason Miller, in a response early Tuesday, acknowledged that Melania Trump’s speech included “fragments” reflecting her experiences and referred to a “team of writers,” essentially refuting her claim that she wrote the speech.
“In writing her beautiful speech, Melania’s team of writers took notes on her life’s inspirations, and in some instances included fragments that reflected her own thinking,” Miller said in a statement. “Melania’s immigrant experience and love for America shone through in her speech, which made it such a success.”
Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Tuesday tried to shift blame for the plagiarism issue to Hillary Clinton supporters. “There’s no cribbing of Michelle Obama’s speech,” he said on CNN’s “New Day.” “These were common words and values that she cares about — her family, things like that.”
“I mean, she was speaking in front of 35 million people last night,” Mr. Manafort said. “She knew that. To think that she would be cribbing Michelle Obama’s words is crazy.”
“I mean, this is once again an example of when a woman threatens Hillary Clinton, how she seeks out to demean her and take her down,” he said. “It’s not going to work.”

How Major League Baseball's Ads DURING Innings Can Make You Throw-Up Your Cracker Jacks

Used to be a time when listening to our American pastime on the radio was a delicious escape. No matter what was dragging you down in your daily life, turn on that ballgame and there you were! You actually became the roar of the crowd, the crack of the bat, the 'steeeRike' of the ump, and all this while the smell of popcorn seemed to be actually wafting out of your car radio as you'd listen! Then, about a year or two ago, Major League Baseball went 'big time' corporate----in the most obnoxious, vulgar and pathetic of ways. Suddenly, instead of hearing an inning of uninterrupted baseball, we now have obnoxious interruptions assaulting our consciousness throughout the actual inning itself----not just between innings.

We are now assaulted by MLB game broadcasters (except for Vin Scully, thank God) who, throughout any given inning, interrupt the flow of the ball game, to tell us such wonderful tidbits such as: 'The 7th inning stretch is brought to you by Coca-Cola', today's attendance announcement is brought to you by Ford, today's 1st home-run of the game is brought to you by United Airlines, today's first double-play of the game is brought to you by KFC, this inning's pitching change is brought to you by Wells Fargo, today's first scratch of the pitcher's crotch is brought to you by Las Vegas Casinos, today's first spit out of the left-fielders mouth is brought to you 'MLB Sucks'..........yes folks, if that's bad. For those of you who are baseball fans, you already know. For those of you who aren't baseball fans but are curious as to what I'm talking about, turn on ANY MLB game and listen for half-an-inning----you'll quickly see for yourself. What can we do about it? As for me, I immediately hit the mute button on the radio until the ad is over, and I make a point to not support any of the advertisers I hear mentioned during the actual inning. I have no problem with the normal ads BETWEEN innings, but when corporate America starts taking over the actual innings themselves, well that's the day we can say America's pastime is actually on it's way to literally becoming a 'past time'.

New England Pats Are Rats

It turns out there's a pesky little gremlin lurking around in the Patriots equipment room deflating footballs. Mystery solved. We should have known all along there was a logical explanation for the "Deflategate" scandal gripping the Sport Nation.
That's pretty much what New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his coach Bill Belichick, would have us believe after their less-than illuminating press conferences yesterday. Both men claimed they were just as stumped as us over how exactly 11 out of 12 of the team's footballs used AFC Championship game against Indianapolis had been illegally deflated below regulation specs.
His quarterback, appearing equally puzzled, wanted everyone to know that he's no cheater: "I would never do anything to break the rules. I believe in fair play. I have no knowledge of anything ... no knowledge of any wrongdoing ... I don't know what happened.""When I came in Monday morning, I was shocked to learn of the news reports about the footballs. I had no knowledge whatsoever of the situation," said a famously crotchety Belichick. "I was completely totally unaware of anything."
Really Tom? It's hard to believe -- almost laughable, really -- that Brady, who is in his 15th NFL season with six trips to the Super Bowl and three Super Bowl wins, noticed nothing wrong. This is a guy who's known to micromanage every aspect of the game, including the ball. And he's on record saying he prefers a soft football. How could a pro like this notice nothing wrong?
The NFL, which according to ESPN reports, had been put on notice by the Colts going into the AFC Championship game that the Patriots may have used "soft balls" earlier in the season, said it is conducting a full investigation But with the Super Bowl less than two weeks away, we've heard nothing from them, nor apparently, has Brady, he said yesterday.
So it's easy to understand why fans and even pro athletes are not buying Brady's story:
"It's obvious that Tom Brady had something to do with this," said Hall of Fame QB Troy Aikman on his Dallas radio program, even before the Brady-Belichick press conferences. "So for the balls to be deflated, that doesn't happen unless the quarterback wants that to happen, I can assure you of that. Now the question becomes: Did Bill Belichick know about it."
The evidence is clear: Eleven of the team's balls were illegally deflated and they didn't get there by themselves. All the talk about cold weather being the culprit? Forget it. Not only was the temperature in the 50s on game day, but if weather was a factor then the Colts' game balls would have also deflated. That didn't happen.
Brady, always the polished pitchman, is playing the innocent victim role perfectly. Perhaps this is all just a conspiracy put out there by Patriots haters, Brady suggested yesterday. Good try but most reasonable people do not believe in conspiracy theories. And hopefully, even fewer people believe in invisible gremlins. So there must be another explanation.
That leaves the Deflategate spectacle in the hands of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The scandal has provided plenty of jokes for late-night television and Twitter. But cheating in the NFL, a $9.5 billion a year industry with an overall market value of $46 billion for its 32 teams, is no laughing matter.
It's been a rough year for the integrity of the game. Goodell has admittedly made botched calls over several cases involving domestic abuse, with the Ray Rice scandal being the most egregious. And this season has been littered with debatable play-calling in crucial game situations.
This is no time for stalled investigations. A ruling on Deflategate after the Super Bowl would be a huge letdown, and signal that cheating, no matter how blatant, is no big deal in the NFL. Goodell should act swiftly and announce sanctions against New England before the Super Bowl takes place in Phoenix on Feburary 1. Fans are not the only ones calling for the commissioner to clean this mess up.
Earlier this week, Nevada Sen. Dean Heller called on Goodell to restore the credibility of the game. "I am seeking decisive actions ensuring all teams are playing according to the rules," Heller said in a statement. He recommended the league work with the NFL Players Association to resolve the issue ahead before the Super Bowl.
Let's be clear: The Patriots are second-time offenders when it comes to cheating. Back in 2007, Belichick was fined the NFL maximum of $500,000 and the Patriots were ordered to pay $250,000 for spying on an opponent's (The New York Jets) defensive signals. In the end, the team's assistant video guy took the fall and was the only person fired in the incident. The Pats also lost a draft pick in 2008.
"This episode represents a calculated and deliberate attempt to avoid long-standing rules designed to encourage fair play and promote honest competition on the playing field," Goodell said at the time in a letter to the Patriots.
Goodell got it right back then: He handed out the biggest fine ever for an NFL coach and he sent a clear message that cheating would not be tolerated, or excused away. This time around, despite the billions of dollars attached to the Super Bowl, Goodell needs to go further. At a minimum, the commissioner should:
-- Disqualify the Patriots from the Super Bowl
-- Strip the team's AFC Championship title
-- Fine, or suspend Belichick, who despite his claims to the contrary should have known about the deflated balls -- and even if he didn't, he's ultimately responsible for everything that happens on the field.
And if it can reasonably be argued that Brady knew or should have known based on his NFL expertise that the football has been tampered with, then he too should face tough sanctions.
Since there's no precedent for disqualifying a Super Bowl team, Goodell would have to put a plan in place. It makes sense to me that the next best AFC team would go instead of the Pats, which means the Colts would play.
And no, it doesn't matter that New England beat Indy, 45-7. The score is not the point when a team cheats. And if winning -- by any means necessary -- is really all that matters these days in the NFL, then we might as well throw out the rule books and stop preaching about the "sanctity of the game."
It's 2015 and it seems the Patriots still think the rules don't apply to them. They haven't learned their lesson. This time around the commissioner must send an even stronger message so there's no confusion.
The Patriots should be benched for Super Bowl XLIX.

Whoopi's Gone Wonka at THE VIEW

Whoopi Goldberg is back on The View after having back surgery, and let's just say mama Whoopi didn't leave her hospital meds behind. Whether it's the steroids or the pain medication she's on, or whatever, Ms. Goldberg has clearly gone from being mildly annoying to obnoxious. Whoop dear please stay home and recuperate sweetie----you're not Norma Desmond having to worry about losing your career! Argumentative and over-talking the other co-hosts every step of the way (yes even over-talking Rosie O), Whoopi appears on-edge, pissed-off and shall we say 'Madea like'. So ABC let her have her special chair on the set if that will make her happy, but please keep her on the sick-list until she comes off all her pain meds and learns how to socialize properly. Welcome to The View y'all, welcome to The View.

Do You Really Want To Eat This???

When California’s groundbreaking ban on the sale of foie gras went into effect in 2012, a little-known restaurant in Hermosa Beach, California, tried to skirt the law by renaming its foie gras burger “THE Burger” and falsely advertising that it came with “a complimentary side of foie gras.” We (and caring consumers everywhere) weren’t buying that, so PETA brought a lawsuit against Hot’s Kitchen seeking to prevent the restaurant from continuing to sell the offensive burger for the almost two years that the law was in effect. In light of the recent federal court ruling, which struck down California’s progressive law on a technicality, PETA is now moving to dismiss the lawsuit, as it no longer prevents cruelty to animals at this despicable restaurant, where profits from the sale of diseased duck livers are prized and ethics do not have a seat at the table.
California enacted the ban on foie gras sales in response to the cruelty inherent in foie gras production. Investigations at every foie gras farm in the U.S. and many of the farms in Europe have revealed sick, dead, and dying birds—some with holes in their necks from having force-feeding pipes rammed down their throats. The birds often suffer from internal hemorrhaging, infections, ruptured organs, respiratory distress, and more and can become so debilitated that they can only move by pushing themselves along the ground with their wings. PETA’s investigation of the duck factory farm that supplies Hot’s Kitchen found that the ducks there spend the final weeks before slaughter in barren metal cages so small that they can’t spread a single wing and that they’re denied water to bathe and swim in.
PETA supports the California attorney general’s anticipated appeal in this case. But in the meantime, consumers can vote for kindness with their wallets by refusing to patronize restaurants that sell foie gras.
